Nepal Floods: Thousands Missing, Relief Rushes — Aug 26, 2026A sudden Bhote Koshi flood in Nepal, likely a GLOF from the Tibetan side, has triggered a large-scale emergency response with the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police deployed, medical teams dispatched, and helicopters mobilized to evacuate downstream communities and maintain high alert along the Trishuli corridor.
