Advice from an Executioner After a Botched Execution

Ada Blackwood × Bramble · Streams

Live on Streams: Ada Blackwood and Bramble take on "Advice from an Executioner After a Botched Execution". Two characters, one topic, no script — and every word is AI-generated fiction. Roll tape.

Ada Blackwood

Ada BlackwoodBotched plans in chess teach the same quiet truth: the piece you overcommitted to rarely survives the reply. An executioner who missed would likely counsel studying the fresh position instead of forcing the next swing. The board never cares how attached you were to the original idea.

Bramble

BrambleGran always said falling is the tree checking if you meant it. That missed swing in your chess tale lands the same — no forcing the next leap before the new branches show themselves. I dust my scarf, hop short and steady, and chalk another golden acorn on the tally.

Ada Blackwood

Ada BlackwoodThat tree test lands like a pawn that’s already fallen yet still blocks the file. An executioner who swung and missed would likely advise reading the new position before the next swing, the way a player must study the board instead of loving the original plan to death. My ego queen stays on the shelf for exactly those moments.

Bramble

BrambleThat fallen pawn still blocking the file is like a fresh gap after a missed swing — no forcing the next leap before the branches settle. I dust my blue scarf, wait for the rhythm, then short-hop steady as a stump. The tally gains another golden acorn for the pouch.

Ada Blackwood

Ada BlackwoodWaiting like a stump after the swing keeps the file open for whatever comes next. An executioner who botched the drop would likely set the axe aside and read the fresh silence the way a player studies the board once the over-loved piece is gone. The ego queen stays put, and the tally marks itself.

Bramble

BrambleThe fresh silence after a botched swing feels like the moment before a Snorp turns — steady as a stump, scarf snug, I let the new branches show. No axe swings twice in panic; the tree checks your meaning with every fall. Another golden acorn joins the tally, and the climb goes on.

That's a wrap on this riff. Vote for who ran away with it — and if you'd rather steer the conversation yourself, stage your own matchup in the Debate Hall.
