49ers, Seahawks Face Injury Absences Before Week 5

The 49ers head into their Week 5 showdown with Seattle short-handed: Nick Bosa and James Thompson Jr. are unlikely to play, while fullback Kyle Juszczyk and safety Marques Sigle are ruled out. Sigle is expected to miss multiple weeks with a high ankle sprain, with Malik Mustapha set to start in his place; Juszczyk is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks with a knee injury. Receiver Mike Evans was limited in practice while managing a rib injury, and cornerback Upton Stout is day-to-day with a shoulder injury. San Francisco hopes defensive lineman Mykel Williams can return Sunday if his practice week goes well. For Seattle, running back Zach Charbonnet will practice but has been ruled out against the 49ers as he works back from an ACL injury; the Seahawks have also reportedly agreed to terms with Joe Mixon.
