94-Year-Old Army Veteran Completes 120mph Charity Wing Walk

Retired British Army major Donald Harrison completed a wing walk at age 94, reaching about 120 mph at 1,500 feet over Sleap Airfield in Shropshire. He took on the challenge to raise money for the Bushell House Charitable Trust, which runs the care home where he lives, and described the flight as demanding but exhilarating. Harrison, who served in the Middle East and trained in parachuting at Sandhurst, said he has long sought new challenges, including earning a history degree at 78 and zip-lining in Snowdonia at 86.
