Brink’s Wins UK CMA Backing for Planned NCR Atleos Deal
The U.K. Competition and Markets Authority has accepted in principle Brink’s proposed remedy to address competition concerns over its planned acquisition of NCR Atleos. Brink’s would sell its NoteMachine/TestLink UK business and is working with several prospective buyers to complete the divestiture and avoid a Phase 2 investigation. The company says the sale was already accounted for in its financial plans and will not change its expectation of $200 million in annual run-rate cost synergies within three years of closing. Brink’s says the acquisition remains on track to close early in the first quarter of 2027.
