Browns elevate two defensive tackles for Jets game
The Cleveland Browns elevated defensive tackles Sam Kamara and Chris Williams from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, adding depth to an injury-hit defensive line. Mason Graham and Mike Hall Jr. were ruled out, while Kalia Davis was also unavailable as he works back from a quad injury. Kamara, who has spent much of his NFL career moving between Cleveland’s practice squad and active roster, could see action; he is the only Stony Brook alumnus currently on an NFL roster. Williams has appeared in 44 career games for the Colts and Bears.
