Bucks Fall to Timberwolves 116-97 in Preseason Opener

The Milwaukee Bucks opened their preseason with a 116-97 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, struggling to find their shooting touch and giving up easy transition opportunities. Milwaukee started 6-for-28 from the field and 4-for-18 from three-point range. Coach Taylor Jenkins said the team’s defense lacked communication and pressure, while stressing that the preseason opener was no excuse for the poor effort. The game began a reset for the Bucks under Jenkins after a disappointing season and major roster changes, including Giannis Antetokounmpo’s offseason departure.
