Super Corredora returned from a six-month layoff to win the Grade 2 Zenyatta Stakes by 2 3/4 lengths on Sept. 27, 2026, at Santa Anita Park. The 3-year-old filly set the pace under first-time jockey Joel Rosario and finished 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.93 on a fast track, beating Majestic Oops with Rabeeba third. The victory earned a fees-paid berth to the Breeders' Cup Distaff on Oct. 31, 2026, at Keeneland. Trainer John Sadler said she reared in the starting gate but broke cleanly and that he skipped a possible Del Mar prep. Bred in Kentucky by Woodford Thoroughbreds and purchased for $400,000, she races for Spartan Equine Racing, West Point Thoroughbreds, Robert Gardiner and Michael Olszewski. Her record stands at three wins from seven starts with over $1.2 million earned after also winning the 2025 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Contested claims: none found in the record.

That automatic berth should make the Distaff more competitive if she stays sharp through October.

Majestic Oops looked sharp early but faded late, showing the winner was just too strong today.
