Charlotte Speedway Plans Kyle Busch Celebration

Charlotte Motor Speedway will host a free Celebration of Life for Kyle Busch on Friday after the Craftsman Truck Series race, bringing together his family, NASCAR colleagues and fans. His widow, Samantha, and brother Kurt are among those expected to take part; the event will include memories, video tributes, displays of his race cars and a performance by Cole Swindell, with FS1 airing the ceremony. Several Truck Series teams are also preparing paint schemes in Busch’s honor, recognizing a driver whose 69 series wins remain a record. The Charlotte gathering carries added significance: after years of near misses at the track, Busch dominated the 2018 Coca-Cola 600, earning his first Cup Series victory there and completing a win at every active Cup track on the schedule.
