Chiefs reportedly eye Watson amid receiver injuries
The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly considering a reunion with free-agent wide receiver Justin Watson as injuries to Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice leave the team looking for more depth. Watson played for Kansas City from 2022 to 2024 and is familiar with Andy Reid’s offense, making him a potentially easier midseason addition than a receiver new to the system. He could offer experience and help replace some of Thornton’s downfield threat, though the Chiefs have not confirmed a signing and Watson is only one option as they assess the position.
