Communities Gather Across US for Crime Prevention

Communities in Vance County, New Orleans, Acadiana and San Antonio held neighborhood events bringing residents together with public-safety agencies, local officials and community organizations. Activities included food, entertainment and family events, while giving residents opportunities to learn about local resources and meet first responders. New Orleans leaders and organizers emphasized that these connections can build trust, support crime victims and families, and provide young people with safe, positive opportunities.
