Communities Plan Free Flu Shot Clinics Across Virginia, New York
Several communities are offering convenient vaccination clinics this fall. Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital announced a free, no-appointment drive-through flu shot event in Charlottesville, while Sentara RMH’s free clinic offers standard vaccines to adults 18 and older and high-dose shots to adults 65 and older, without requiring identification or insurance information. Schuyler County Public Health and Walmart plan a free walk-in flu clinic in Montour Falls on Oct. 26 for people age 3 and older; attendees should bring insurance information. Le Roy will host a drive-through flu and COVID vaccination clinic on Oct. 17, with most insurance accepted, and Longs Drugs in West Hawaii is offering drive-through flu vaccinations for ages 3 and up, with walk-ins and drive-ups welcome.
