Community Festivals Planned, Held Across Four Cities

A free outdoor music and arts festival in Penfield on Oct. 10 will feature five acts, food and activities across O.I.M. Studios’ 22-acre grounds, with donations benefiting the Mac Miller Fund and Veterans Outreach Center. In Atlanta, the Atlanta Music Project will hold a free Oct. 11 block party featuring student performances, food and local organizations, with donations supporting its music education and college-preparation programs. Gainesville nonprofit Community Spring held its first annual block party to engage residents around economic justice and the effects of poverty and incarceration, featuring local music, youth circus performers, food trucks and vendors.
