The Dallas Cowboys fell 24-16 at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, dropping to 2-3 despite Tampa Bay playing without injured starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. After Dallas led 10-7 at halftime, Tampa Bay scored 17 points in the third quarter, and Dak Prescott’s late interception ended the Cowboys’ comeback hopes. Owner Jerry Jones called the defeat “extraordinarily disappointing,” as the loss renewed questions about Dallas’ performance and direction.
