Crashes kill three across Texas, Illinois

Separate fatal crashes were reported in Texas and Illinois. In northwest Harris County, Texas, one person died in a crash on Tanner Road Tuesday morning; officials have not said what caused it. In Jack County, Texas, an 82-year-old Mineral Wells man died after authorities said he failed to yield on U.S. 380 to a vehicle traveling north on U.S. 281. Near Fisher, Illinois, a 27-year-old Champaign man died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 136 early Sunday, and two other people were injured; the Jeep driver was cited for driving under the influence, and the crash remains under investigation.
