Criterion Releases Restored Satyajit Ray Forest Film

Satyajit Ray’s 1970 film *Days and Nights in the Forest*, recently restored and released by Criterion, follows four privileged friends on a trip that gently critiques class privilege amid a changing India. In Saginaw, Minnesota, the annual Zachary Tackett Haunted Forest offers hayrides and a scare trail, with special blackout nights Oct. 23–24 and a Kids Day on Oct. 24. The Roblox game *99 Nights in the Forest* centers on a survival mystery involving missing children and a strange creature; players can redeem available codes through the game’s Gems menu for rewards.
