Defensemen Lindgren, Sergachev Exit Games With Injuries

Utah Mammoth defenseman Mikhail Sergachev left Tuesday’s win over the New Jersey Devils late in the second period after a teammate’s clearing attempt struck the back of his helmet. The team ruled him out with an upper-body injury; before exiting, he recorded three assists, including the 300th of his NHL career. He leads Utah’s defense in ice time and is a key contributor, but the team had not yet said how long he might be out.
