Dinosaur Exhibits Span US Museums

Several museums are highlighting dinosaurs through exhibits that combine spectacle with education. Birmingham Zoo’s Dino Safari features 23 life-size robotic dinosaurs, interactive fossil activities and dinosaur nests, with entry included in regular zoo admission. The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is bringing back Dinorama, a miniature-diorama exhibit curated to showcase the diversity and unusual ecosystems of the Mesozoic. In Chico, the Gateway Science Museum’s first dinosaur-focused exhibit pairs fossils, skeletal replicas, eggs and footprints with family activities and trivia nights, while highlighting the region’s ancient inland sea and its marine reptiles.
