Dodgers Delay Rojas NLCS Roster Decision
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Miguel Rojas has made encouraging progress after leaving an NLDS game with lower-back tightness, taking ground balls and batting practice. The team has not decided whether the infielder will be available for the NLCS against Milwaukee and plans to reassess him after travel and another workout. Los Angeles also intends to carry an extra pitcher for the best-of-seven series, which means dropping a position player from its previous roster; utility players Tommy Edman and Kiké Hernández could help cover the infield if Rojas is unavailable.
