Dogs Seek Homes Across Multiple State Shelters
Animal shelters and rescues in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, West Virginia and New Jersey are highlighting dogs seeking adoptive homes. Shelly, a Labrador-Australian Shepherd mix rescued from a West Virginia facility, entered a foster-to-adopt program after being featured by the Central PA Humane Society; the shelter also says Ozzie needs a home with no other animals. Massachusetts rescue pups Jill and Onyx are also being introduced to potential adopters. The Humane Society of Parkersburg is seeking homes for young dogs Princess, Winnie and Forest, while Heaven Sent Animal Rescue NJ has a range of foster dogs available, including young mixes and adult dogs described as good with children or other pets. Pet availability may change, so prospective adopters should contact the relevant organizations for current information and adoption requirements.
