Festivals plan autumn returns across US, UK

Several festivals are returning this fall, offering events ranging from cultural celebrations to medieval entertainment. Oklahoma City’s free Hispanic Festival is scheduled for Oct. 10 at Scissortail Park, featuring Latin American music, dance, food and art. Las Vegas’s Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival returns to Sunset Park with jousting, performances, artisan markets and family activities; organizers said last year’s event drew about 70,000 visitors. Meridian’s Idaho Renaissance Faire will run Saturday and Sunday, with vendors, food, games and a royal-court celebration. Texas Renaissance Festival opens its 52nd season in Todd Mission on Oct. 10, running across themed weekends through Nov. 29, while Norwich Beer Festival returns to the city’s historic Halls Oct. 26–31 with beer, cider, food and live music.
