More Than 1,100 Bank Employees Volunteer Across Texas and Minnesota
More than 1,100 First Financial Bank employees volunteered with nonprofits, schools and service organizations across Texas for the bank’s annual Day of Service, taking on projects such as park cleanup and work at a veterans cemetery and nursing homes. In southern Minnesota, First Alliance Credit Union closed its branches so 79 employees could volunteer for two hours each with local organizations, including a women’s shelter, the Boys & Girls Club and Family Service Rochester. Their hands-on work included raking leaves, cleaning gutters and organizing spaces. The credit union said the event is part of the statewide CU Kind service initiative.
