Fire Departments Plan Community Open Houses

Fire departments in several communities are inviting residents to open houses featuring opportunities to meet firefighters, explore equipment and learn about fire safety. Foxborough’s event includes interactive safety activities, first-aid instruction and hands-only CPR, while Plymouth plans family-friendly activities at a fire station. Sudbury’s open house will showcase fire and rescue vehicles and include a ladder-climbing demonstration and a chance for attendees to use a fire hose. Jewett is pairing its open house with a chicken barbecue and tours of its new truck garage, and Killeen’s fire department is also hosting an open house.
