Florida-Missouri Injury Reports Leave Stars Uncertain

Florida wide receiver Vernell Brown III was ruled out of the Gators’ game against Missouri with a knee strain, a significant absence as he leads Florida in receiving and has scored twice on punt returns. Bailey Stockton, who had been listed as questionable with a back injury, was cleared to play. Florida could lean more on Eric Singleton Jr., who returned from an ankle injury the previous week and caught a 38-yard pass. Missouri will be without edge rushers Darris Smith and Langden Kitchen, while star running back Ahmad Hardy remains out as he recovers from a gunshot wound to his leg.
