Friday Football Faces Varied Weather Forecasts
Weather could affect football plans in several regions: Orlando-area high school games faced downpours and possible delays, while remnants of Hurricane Isaias were forecast to bring rain, gusty winds and possible lightning to LSU’s game at Kentucky. In contrast, Friday-night high school games around Dayton were expected to have pleasant, dry conditions. Southeast Wisconsin could see brief afternoon and evening downpours before a mostly dry, warmer weekend, with a chance of clouds or a sprinkle from Isaias’s remnants. Friday-evening sprinkles were also possible ahead of warmer weather for the Notre Dame game Saturday.
