Hudson secures 20-year Seattle airport duty-free contract
Avolta’s Hudson has secured a 20-year duty-free concession at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, covering more than 2,800 square meters across the A, N and S concourses. The stores will pair international duty-free goods with locally sourced foods and gifts, Washington spirits, tasting experiences and an airport-specific “Exploring Seattle” range, alongside performances and installations celebrating the region. The project involves local small businesses and is intended to create opportunities for women-, minority- and small-owned enterprises while enhancing the passenger experience. Construction at the A Concourse is expected to begin in late 2026, with completion planned for late 2027; timelines for the other locations have not been fully specified.
