Idaho Stuns No. 1 Montana State, 35-34

Idaho stunned top-ranked Montana State 35-34 when Joshua Wood threw a 25-yard touchdown pass as time expired, then ran in the game-winning two-point conversion. The victory was Idaho’s first of the season and the program’s first over a No. 1-ranked opponent. Montana State’s program-record 19-game winning streak ended, as the Bobcats fell to Idaho despite entering the matchup undefeated. The Bobcats were without starting quarterback Justin Lamson, receiver Taco Dowler and running back Adam Jones, while backup Patrick Duchien had filled in during their previous game.
