Keselowski Plans 2027 NASCAR Drive After RFK Split
Brad Keselowski, after qualifying 16th Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, gave first public comments on the RFK Racing split announced Sept. 29, 2026 that ends his five-year driver contract. The 2012 Cup Series and 2010 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series champion with 36 wins over 19 seasons and 623 starts said he is confident of driving in 2027. “When I’m in a vehicle in Daytona, I’ll be confident of that, but right now I think there’s enough interest,” Keselowski said. “I’m not saying I’m not sweating it; that’s not true. There are things to work through. But there’s enough interest to where I’m confident that I’ll be somewhere next year.” He added of RFK: “That’s been the thrill of a lifetime to be a part of. You always hate to leave that, lose that, whatever it might be, but it is a part of life. It’s kind of like leaving high school, but that’s where we are.” Chip Bowers explained the split to reporters. Keselowski said he had a pretty good idea this was in the works for months and is gathering opportunities, deciding in coming months. A Truck title would make him first with all three national titles. RFK has seven wins by Keselowski, Chris Buescher and Ryan Preece since 2022. His 2027 plans stay unresolved.
