Kuzma Responds After One-Point Bucks Preseason Loss

Kyle Kuzma responded to criticism from Milwaukee Bucks fans after scoring one point on 0-for-6 shooting in the team’s 116-97 preseason loss to Minnesota, writing on X, “It’s pre-season, calm down lol.” The reply drew further backlash from fans who say his inconsistent play has been a problem beyond the preseason opener. Kuzma averaged 13 points per game last season and often fell out of the rotation, but he could have a larger role this year as Milwaukee adjusts to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s departure and a new coaching staff. The Bucks open the regular season against Kuzma’s former team, the Washington Wizards, on October 21.
