Lil Wayne calls Madi Cannon his fiancée in video message
On a FaceTime, Lil Wayne turned the camera toward the person standing behind him. He had opened the exchange with B.G. in one short line.
"Congratulations, bitch."
Madi Cannon stepped into the frame over his shoulder. Her line matched the brevity of his greeting.
"Congratulations."
The clip went up on B.G.'s Instagram on Monday, September 28, 2026. The call's stated purpose was to congratulate B.G. on his engagement.
The woman over his shoulder was Madison "Madi K" Cannon, 23, a social-media figure from Kokomo, Indiana. Lil Wayne was 44. He had turned 44 on September 27, 2026, the day before the video went up. Born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. in New Orleans on that same date in 1982, he founded Young Money Entertainment in 2005 and had won five Grammy Awards.
In May 2026, reports first claimed he was engaged to an Indiana woman in her 20s. Online users identified her as Cannon. Neither she nor Wayne confirmed the reports. The claim carried no wedding date and drew no public statement from either of them. She stayed known online as Madi K, tied to Kokomo.

In July 2026, during a livestream, Wayne answered the question the May reports had left open.
"I would like to clear something up. No, I'm not engaged. I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today's crazy world and culture, I considered, I don't want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part. Sucks."
On that call, after the two short congratulations, Wayne kept the camera where it had turned and spoke again.
"And I'm marrying this one - this is Madison."
"This is my fiancée."
No public timeline accounts for the reconciliation. No account describes any new proposal. The months between the July decision to part and the September title of fiancée remain without a public date or explanation. Wayne kept the camera turned.
"Let us know what color we're wearing. I'm the best man you hear me? Love you bitch."

The wedding he had just joined began on a New Orleans stage. On September 12, 2026, B.G., born Christopher Dorsey, proposed to Brooke Jones onstage at the Smoothie King Center during the Cash Money & No Limit arena tour’s stop in the city. Jones, known as Bodied by Brooke, accepted. That engagement was the reason the FaceTime existed.
Wayne and B.G. had been linked since the mid-1990s in New Orleans. They first recorded together as the B.G.'z. In 1997 they joined Juvenile and Turk as the Hot Boys on Cash Money Records. Wayne, then 14, was the youngest member. Guerrilla Warfare, the group’s 1999 album, reached number five on the Billboard 200 and went platinum. The same Cash Money bond put Wayne on the call when Dorsey got engaged at the Smoothie King Center.
Wayne’s first marriage began on Valentine’s Day 2004, when he wed Antonia “Toya” Johnson. The divorce followed in 2006. Their daughter, Reginae Carter, is 27. He is also the father of three sons: Dwayne, 17, born to Sarah Vivan; Kameron, 17, born to Lauren London; and Neal, 16, born to Nivea. Four children in all.
The engagement announcement arrived a year after another fiancée described her own exit. Denise Bidot said Wayne had removed her and her daughter from his house on Mother’s Day while she was still healing. “Wayne literally kicked me and my daughter out on Mother’s Day today, and I’m just recovering from surgery.”
The age gap between Wayne and Cannon is 21 years. He put the FaceTime on his Instagram and wrote one line beneath it.
"My lil Brodie gave me his blessings @liltunechi."
The caption tagged Wayne and claimed the blessing for the engagement that had started the call. It stopped there. B.G. did not address the reveal that had come mid-call. The text under the video named no second fiancée and offered no comment on the introduction Wayne had made. The blessing it recorded belonged to one wedding alone.
No wedding date was announced by Wayne. None was announced by Cannon. She remained silent on the reunion the posted video had made plain.
