Shrimpers in Cameron worry as Venture Global expands LNG facilities

Cameron, Louisiana, is seeing a surge of temporary workers as Venture Global builds out its liquefied natural gas complex, with its Calcasieu Pass 1 facility operating and construction underway on a much larger second phase. The expansion has brought major industrial activity to the coast, including pipeline and ship traffic, while local shrimpers Brian DeBarge and Tad Theriot worry about how much their community and fishing livelihoods can withstand.
