Macklin Celebrini Game-Time Decision Against Blues

Sharks captain Macklin Celebrini missed games against Dallas and St. Louis with a lower-body injury, despite his desire to keep playing. San Jose has been cautious at the trainers’ direction, and coach Ryan Warsofsky described Celebrini’s status for Saturday’s game against Edmonton as a game-time decision. Celebrini skated Friday, joined some line rushes and said he felt pretty good, raising hopes he could return for a marquee matchup with Connor McDavid. The Sharks have won without him, but his return would bolster a team that has relied on his offense early in the season.
