A 33-year-old man, Khuslen Saruultuya, was arrested in Southwest Miami-Dade after allegedly confronting an Uber Eats driver who returned to an apartment complex about 50 minutes after a delivery, hoping to ask a woman for her phone number. According to investigators, Saruultuya ordered the driver to the ground, shot him in the buttock, pistol-whipped him and threatened to kill him; the driver escaped and received hospital treatment. Saruultuya faces an attempted-murder charge, and deputies say a search of his apartment uncovered suspected narcotics, prescription pills, cash and a room allegedly used to prepare and package drugs.
