Murray State Rallies Past Wichita State in Exhibition
Murray State rallied from a one-point halftime deficit to beat Wichita State 93-87 in a preseason charity exhibition at Charles Koch Arena. The Racers’ balanced scoring and late-game execution helped them pull away after Wichita State briefly took a seven-point lead early in the second half; Murray State’s Roman Domon led his team with 17 points. Wichita State’s Dillon Battie recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Jahari Long added 17 points. The scrimmage raised money for the Wichita Children’s Home and Cheese Johnson’s uJump Junior Mentoring Program, and both coaches viewed the game as a chance to evaluate players and combinations ahead of the season.
