Packers Rule Micah Parsons Out Against Bears
Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons will not practice this week and is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Bears as he continues recovering from a torn ACL. Coach Matt LaFleur said Parsons has made progress but that the team has set no return date; a November comeback is possible, though the Packers could bring him back later to allow a gradual reentry. Green Bay is also monitoring rookie cornerback Brandon Cisse, who sustained a neck injury but cleared concussion evaluation and is not expected to miss significant time. Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles, while running back Chris Brooks is undergoing further evaluation for an ankle injury.
