Patriots, Jaguars Set for AFC Showdown

The New England Patriots visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 27, in a matchup between teams coming off strong 2025 seasons: New England reached Super Bowl LX, while Jacksonville won the AFC South. The game will be played at EverBank Stadium at 1 p.m. ET and televised nationally on CBS. The Patriots will look to contain Jaguars receiver and return specialist Parker Washington, who has emerged as a frequent target for Trevor Lawrence and can also change field position on punt returns. New England’s approach will depend on sound tackling, limiting yards after the catch and protecting quarterback Drake Maye against Jacksonville’s pass rush.
