PennDOT plans bridge inspections across Pennsylvania

PennDOT has scheduled bridge inspections in Lancaster and Dauphin counties that will bring temporary lane restrictions and possible delays. Crews will inspect the Third Street bridge over Route 30 in Columbia Borough on Oct. 13–14, restricting eastbound lanes Tuesday and westbound lanes Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Inspection work on the Colonial Road bridge over I-81 in Lower Paxton Township will restrict northbound lanes Oct. 12 and southbound lanes Oct. 13, during daytime hours. On Route 283 in East Hempfield Township, the right lane and shoulder will close eastbound Oct. 21 and westbound Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All work is weather permitting.
