Pennsylvania Plans Unapproved Vape Enforcement October 19
Pennsylvania will begin enforcing Act 57 on October 19, barring retailers from selling electronic nicotine delivery systems—including vapes and e-cigarettes—not listed in the state’s approved-products directory. Products must meet specified federal and state requirements, and officials say inspections will initially include compliance education before escalating penalties for repeat violations; fines can begin at $500 per noncompliant product. Retailers have warned that the restrictions could make a large share of their current inventory illegal to sell.
