Pickle Festivals Held, Planned Across Three Cities

Pickle-themed festivals are drawing crowds and expanding their offerings, from Texarkana’s event, which added a 5K run and car show alongside its contests and vendors, to upcoming celebrations in Deptford and Richmond. Deptford’s Dog & Bell plans its 30th annual Pickle Festival on Nov. 7, 2026, featuring homemade pickle competitions, food and beer. Richmond’s first Pickle Party, scheduled for Nov. 6–8, will combine pickle-themed festivities with live music, an art exhibition, an artisan market, food trucks, workshops and a parade, aiming to spotlight the neighborhood’s arts and businesses.
