Pink Events Support Breast Cancer Causes

Community and athletic events are using pink-themed gatherings to raise awareness and support people affected by breast cancer. Allen Community College’s volleyball “Pink Out” raised $504 for Wings of Warriors through a fundraiser featuring 280 decorated T-shirts, while Purdue Fort Wayne has expanded its long-running Pink Out tradition into an October Pink Week honoring survivors and supporting local research and care networks. In Portsmouth, organizers are promoting the Paint Me Perfectly Pink Rosé & Radiance Gala, a fundraising event celebrating breast cancer champions and their families.
