Porsche Deliveries Fall 16%, China Drops 33%
Porsche delivered 178,532 vehicles worldwide in the first nine months of 2026, down 16% from a year earlier, as it prioritized brand value over sales volume amid weak demand and a changing model lineup. China saw the steepest decline, with deliveries down 33%; sales also fell in North America, Europe and other markets, while UK registrations rose 4.4%. The 911 was a standout, with deliveries up 12% to 42,217, while the Cayenne remained Porsche’s best-selling model despite a modest decline; the new electric version contributed 7,002 deliveries after its summer launch. Sales of the Macan, Panamera and Taycan fell, and 718 deliveries plunged following the end of production. The downturn comes as Porsche pursues a costly EV-strategy reset and a broader restructuring to restore profitability.
