Rays plan 2027 center previewing $2.3B Tampa stadium

The Tampa Bay Rays plan to open a nearly 15,000-square-foot Ballpark Experience Center at Westshore City Center in early 2027, giving fans a preview of the team’s planned 2029 Tampa stadium and surrounding mixed-use district. About one-third of the center will be open to the public, with team memorabilia, family activities, retail, digital stadium exhibits and personalized baseball cards. The remaining space will host appointment-only visits for prospective season-ticket members, premium clients and business partners to explore seating, hospitality and sponsorship opportunities. Rays CEO Ken Babby said the center is intended to make the future ballpark experience tangible before the stadium opens.
