Report: 56% Blame Cyber Skills Gaps for Breaches

Across both AI adoption and cybersecurity, workforce skills are emerging as a major barrier: Vietnamese businesses say shortages in AI and digital expertise impede adoption, while cybersecurity organizations report that staffing and skills gaps contribute to breaches. Vietnam’s national goals include training 10 million workers in cloud and AI by 2030, with emphasis on practical capabilities and stronger links among education, technology communities and employers. Cybersecurity educators likewise argue that training must keep pace with AI-enabled attacks and give students hands-on, job-ready experience earlier in their education.
