Teriyaki Madness Opens in Yonkers as Sushi Brands Plan New Sites
Teriyaki Madness has opened a downtown Yonkers location, adding its made-to-order teriyaki bowls and other fast-casual dishes to the area. Toronto sushi shop Oroshi Fish Co. plans to open a second, takeout-focused location at 2564 Yonge St. in late fall 2026, with a dedicated fish-processing kitchen. In Charlotte, Mr. Tokyo Premium is replacing the closed 37 Sol in Steele Creek with an all-you-can-eat Japanese menu featuring sushi, sashimi, ramen and hibachi. Vancouver is also set to gain a sushi concept: Zumi Revolving Sushi Bar says it plans to open in winter 2026, offering conveyor-belt plates, chef-counter service and takeout.
