Rihanna Says Vault Holds 170 Unreleased Songs

Rihanna said during a Fenty Beauty livestream that she has “at least” 17 vaults of music, implying roughly 170 unreleased songs, though she did not say whether the tracks are finished or will be released. Her last studio album, Anti, came out in 2016, and she has not announced a release date for the long-awaited follow-up, often called R9. Rihanna has said she wants the next project to reflect her current artistry rather than meet commercial expectations, while A$AP Rocky has recently confirmed that she is working in the studio.
