Rodeo Events Showcase Riders Across Four States

Rodeo is a way of life for Fort Hays Tech student Tyler McCauley, who balances electrician training with daily horse care and practice as a member of the Fort Hays State University Rodeo Club. The Whitehorse brothers—Demar, Demarcus and Delmar—continued their strong 2026 season by winning the wild horse race at the Northern Navajo Fair. In Kansas, Rosewood Services held its annual rodeo, celebrating equine-therapy riders with family activities, ribbons and achievement medals. Miss Rodeo Texas 2026 Callie Welty is also using her statewide role to represent Western heritage and share how 4-H, family support and years of public speaking helped her overcome a severe hearing impairment.
