Slots Drive 68% Nevada, $91B US Casino Revenue
Slot machines remained the largest source of casino gaming revenue in 2025, generating $10.7 billion in Nevada—nearly 68% of the state’s total—and $91 billion nationwide, about half of U.S. casino revenue. Their share has declined as sports betting and other gambling options have expanded, but industry leaders see continued growth coming from game innovation, upgraded cabinets and systems, and replacement of existing machines rather than a major wave of new casinos. Nevada’s more than 126,000 machines represent a substantial installed base, while four manufacturers—IGT, Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, and Konami—supply about 82% of the domestic market. Industry analysts forecast nationwide slot revenue could reach $104 billion in 2026.
