Bruins End Losing Streak With 6-1 Win Over Utah
The Boston Bruins snapped a two-game losing streak with a 6-1 win over the Utah Mammoth, converting three of four power plays after entering the game without a power-play goal this season. David Pastrnak had four points, Jeremy Swayman made 36 saves, and Boston killed all seven Utah power plays while recording 23 blocked shots and forcing turnovers that helped generate offense. The win followed losses to Minnesota and Ottawa: the Wild scored twice on the power play while Boston went scoreless on three chances, and giveaways and defensive mistakes contributed to the 4-1 home loss to Ottawa, including two Tim Stützle goals during a Senators power play.
