Eagles Place Tank Bigsby on Injured Reserve
The Philadelphia Eagles placed running back Tank Bigsby on injured reserve after he suffered a core muscle injury in the team’s 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, and he is expected to undergo surgery. He will miss at least four games, with the team hoping he can return in about six weeks or sooner. Saquon Barkley is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, leaving Will Shipley as the only healthy running back on the active roster. The Eagles could elevate practice-squad backs Dameon Pierce, Jaydon Blue or Carson Steele ahead of their Week 5 game against Jacksonville in London.
