Freeman Homers Amid Boos, Dodgers Lead Series 2-1
Freddie Freeman was booed by Atlanta fans in his first postseason game at Truist Park as a Dodger, but said he expected the reaction because he was wearing the opposing team’s uniform. He answered with a solo home run in Los Angeles’ 3-1 Game 3 win, giving the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the NL Division Series and putting them one win from advancing. Freeman, who spent 12 seasons with Atlanta and helped the Braves win the 2021 World Series, said he still has affection for the organization and understands fans rooting for their team.
